
Shawn Earle is an administrator, clarinetist, and educator with an active career in music leadership and performance. He currently serves as CEO of Sistema Toronto and previously held leadership roles with the Regina Symphony Orchestra, focusing on education, outreach, and artistic operations.
As a clarinetist, Dr. Earle has performed across Canada, the USA, Europe, and Australia with ensembles including the Ecosono Ensemble, Aventa Ensemble, Novo Ensemble, and the Lafayette String Quartet, and has appeared with orchestras such as the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and Victoria Symphony.
Dr. Earle holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of British Columbia, with research focused on contemporary Canadian clarinet music. He also earned degrees from the University of Victoria, University of Toronto, and Acadia University. Dedicated to music education, he has taught at universities, led masterclasses, and maintained an active private studio. His creative work also includes portrait, street, and landscape photography that explores identity, human engagement with space, and connection.
